Instructions to iron on a patch
Make sure the garment you are using can withstand the heat.
Step 1: Make sure your fabric can withstand the heat. Check the tag or use google. Iron the garment first to make sure there aren’t any wrinkles.
Step 2: Place the patch in the chosen placement. Ensuring the adhesive side is flat against the fabric. (Sticky Side down)
Step 3: Set the iron to the hottest setting the fabric can tolerate. Depending on the iron brand set iron to "High heat" or "Cotton" Make stem setting is turned off. Remove water from the iron.
Step 4: Place a thin towel or cloth or nonstick parchment paper (Not Wax paper) over the patch.
Step 5: Apply Pressure by pressing down firmly for about 30 seconds. Do not move the Iron around
Step 6. Remove the iron and allow the patch to cool.
Step 7. Once cool check to see if the patch is fixed securely onto the fabric. Gently rub the edges of the patch with your finger. Does the patch move or do the edges lift? If so, cover it with the towel again and apply another 10 seconds of pressure with the iron.
Optional: use a sewing machine or needle and thread around the edges of the patch to keep it completely secure.
Care Instructions: Patches can be dry cleaned or washed in a washing machine with cold water and air dry.
Please note that patches can not be returned.
